2Down vote for the A's. Assad is a low-ceiling SP, currently on the IL. I'm still not sure where Triantos plays in the field. I don't think the A's would have much interest in either player. Alcantara would improve the OF defense but questions remain around his bat.
Assad ready to make rehab (oblique, not arm) starts. Remains to be seen if he's same as the first half pitcher in 24 (Good) or second half (Bad). Triantos, 2B, 3B, OF, DH. Take your pick. I see Alcantara going somewhere. A's, Marlins (Alcantara), etc. I think he will be a streaky hitter. Probably .225-230, 25 HR's, 30's steals kind of guy. Cubs greatest need the same as the last 9 years. Lights out closer. They had Chapman for a half season. Still a good return for Miller.
