Down vote for Oakland. Trading for a guy who hasn't played a baseball game for a day shy of 3 year seems a bad idea. I'm not sure Messick has enough stuff to rank ahead of Estes on the depth chart.

Actually the scouting reports on Messick that the national media have aren't correct... His velocity is up and his stuff is better... He is as sure bet of a BOR as a prospect can be with MOR upside... He may be in Cleveland in the second half of the season if there is any injuries/ineffectiveness
Fair enough. I'm willing to rank Messick above Estes but I'm still not touching Espino.
I wouldn't either before next off season... He's supposed to be back on the mound later this season... Cleveland isn't going to get anything for him in a trade, plus he's going to get a 4th year option, so I don't see Cleveland moving him for less than pennies on the dollar... Rumor is with Espino, next season he's going to be a reliever not a starter as well so that does change his value.
