What’s the logic for this trade? Do the Padres need a 1B next year? Rays aren’t a reliever away, so Estrada (as good as he is) isn’t going to interest the Rays.

Yeah with sheets and arraez as free agents. also i really like tre morgan and want to have him lol
lol. No worries. I propose trades for that reason all the time. Rays like Morgan too but they have a surplus of 1B/DH, so he could be available for the right price. I just don’t see an obvious trade match between the Rays and Padres that would include Morgan. Diaz on the other hand would make a ton of sense from the Rays perspective.
