4I don’t think the Rays want to trade Josh.
I don't think they do either but I think J Lowe is only controllable through 2028 so most likely before the 2027 season starts he'll be moved and TB isn't likely to legitimately compete in the next 1.5 yrs and if they have a chance at a franchise type catcher and a pitching prospect they could turn into something special that would be hard to turn down.
Well, if they need to trade everyone not under control beyond 2028, they have a lot of trades to make (and Rays baseball is going to tough to watch until 2030).
Can any of those guys bring back Mitchell? Lol You know TB always tries to trade with 2 yrs control plus aren't you the one that thinks there'll be a lockout in 2027? Injuries have really cost J Lowe a lot of time, with him returning and doing well is it worth risking another injury while the team hovers around .500 or take the good return he could bring now?
