Rockies clearing apx 120m in dead salary and bad decisions while Red Sox clear 120m in dead salary & headaches, Rockies pick up Story who may rejuvenate his career being back in Colorado (maybe even sell some tix). Yoshida will hit and may benefit in Colorado. Crisswell for Freeland is a wash for a 5th starter while Bleis offers some hope for a future OF starter. Both help Rockies get younger. Sox pick up unproductive, aged, highly paid SP which they seem to enjoy trading for, a 3B for now so Mayer can go to SS. Bryant could hit at Fenway in reserve role. Basically, it's your bad contracts and problems for ours hoping that both fresh starts benefit each team that are going nowhere.
