2💁🏼♀️ Lowder left his rehab start on May 23rd with an oblique strain but needed to be moved to the 60-day IL to make room on the 40-man roster for Wade Miley. This means Lowder isn’t eligible to return to the Reds rotation until August at the earliest. Would the Orioles be willing to wait on him? Maybe closer to the deadline when more info on how he is progressing health wise would be better then now.
Well Orioles are not going anywhere this year and Mullins and O'Hearn are FA's after this year. Unless they are planning on resigning either of these players. Lowder has a very high upside is young and controllable for years. Matter of fact the more I think about it if the Reds are not going to sign either of these players to some kind of extension I would thumbs down my own trade proposal. :-)
