Doesn’t look like any cash is going the other way.
Can still see Hayes getting better offensively. Under the hood he still has room to improve and at Great American he can surely do better in an offensive park.
Also, Taylor Rogers’s acquisition clears the way for a potential Caleb Ferguson trade.
I could see Pittsburgh flipping Rogers in the next 24 hours, as they have no need for him.

Right. The Reds are getting a great glove, but terrible bat. The reason the values are off is because, historically, teams tend to pay more for offense than defense, so our model accounts for that.
Yeah. Have to guess that the corresponding move on Pittsburgh’s end will probably be to call up Triolo again to be the everyday 3B. Also a Gold Glove winner, but terrible offensive statistics — even worse than Hayes.
