I think if TB traded those 3 guys it wouldn't be in the same deal unless it brought back a huge return, Eldridge looks like the real deal but if he busts that really makes them look foolish, plus with Aranda breaking out, Isaac and Morgan possibly not far away, the chance that B Lowe could get moved to 1B, lots of options so I think the Rays would pass IMO.

CC is being far too kind. This is a giant No F*ing Way trade for the Rays for me. Eldridge is young and that’s great, but he plays the same position as Aranda (who plays it better), Yandy Diaz (who plays it better), T.Morgan (who is looking at a call up next year and has played the position better in the minors), X.Isaac and a host of others in the Rays system. If this trade were the first big move by the new ownership group, I’d probably stop watching the Rays immediately because it would signify the Rays were no longer under smart management. I don’t need to waste 450 hours each year watching miserable Rays baseball, to say nothing of the time I spend at sites like BTV.
