2Now THIS is a blockbuster!!!!!!!!! I can see no way it happens in my little world, but it's a Blockbuster for sure.
I felt the same way! After watching Skubal dominate game 1, and having watched the Pirates play in person several times this year, while this trade likely would never happen, I think it should! The Pirates are nowhere close to winning in the Skenes contract window, but if the Tigers had both he and Skubal they would be so dominate. And if the Pirates added these young pieces with those they already have, they could in theory have a real future window with players all around the same age (and maybe they could lock them up early in contracts that they could afford!). As a Cardinals fan I thought this made sense for both teams (but even more, I think either just staying put as they are makes no sense at all!)
