I doubt Cleveland would move Cantillo. More likely Allen.

I don't think the A's would make this move...

Me Either but a lot of Cleveland fans on X are talking about Rooker.

A's extended Rooker, i doubt they will move him now...

Down vote for the A's. I know some (or a lot, maybe) of Cleveland fans like Cantillo but I think he's too unreliable and erratic. (And the A's have better than Logan Allen in-house.) I'm not sure if Kayfus is a 1B-only or if he can handle extended COF time but he's not beating out Soderstrom or Kurtz or Butler. That makes him a DH and a poor replacement for Rooker's RH bat.

Kayfus will be a solid big leaguer... He doesn't fit what the A's need that's for sure. Also I feel like the A's want to keep Rooker for Vegas...

It would be jarring (but not completely unheard of) for the A's to trade Rooker so soon after his extension. The more immediate issues are how his bat adds balance to the line-up and the need to add impact pitching to the rotation. Cantillo does not push Severino or Springs or Lopez down the order; again, I realize there's a sentiment that believes he has the potential to do that but the A's already have that potential in-house with Morales, Jump, and Arnold.
