Down vote for the A's. Soderstrom is an impact bat, they'll want impact pitching before they move him.

A's need desperately for pitching. Here, you have not only one high upside pitcher but 2 with 5 years of availability. Soderstrom isn't that good in the OF & is better suited at 1B, 1B is occupied.
Soderstrom was very good in LF, with +10 Defensive Runs Saved and a +5 OAA. The A's do need pitching and they are desperate for someone who can come in and shove everyone down a notch in the order... but that's not Sean Burke. Burke wasn't better than Springs or Severino or Lopez and he doesn't have the ceiling of Morales, Jump, or Arnold. Burke is carrying half the value in this deal and it's value not needed. And I don't understand why Gasper is in the mix if 1B and DH and C are occupied.
