4ππΌββοΈ I like it. But, If the Twins trade Jeffers who does the Catching in Minnesota? Alex Jackson, Mickey Gasper?
For years Twins have dropped the ball on our catching situation, where we have nobody when Jeffers leaves next year. Jeffers will not sign an extension because Boras won't let him. If he wants to resign, it would be too ridiculous for the Twins. Instead of losing Jeffers for nothing next season. Twins need to trade him for an impactful player. That's why the last 4 years, my main focus has been on impactful catchers, especially young, promising, MLB-ready catchers. Twins are not competing under this regime so why keep Jeffers? For years, we needed a future catcher; failure of not doing this is totally on Falvey.
Catchers & 3B, the hardest positions to fill and the sports weakest depth I think.
Twins have a ton of pseudo-SSs that pass for 3Bmen. IMO, a good SS is more difficult.
