Rays might be interested something like this. Suarez is about to get a value bump with his new BA ranking.

Even with the value bump with all the young pitching depth coming up it'd be crazy not to sacrifice one of them for the biggest black hole of positions in the entire organization, Ford would be probably #1 prospect for TB, that would be an incredible move by getting him for a reliever and a bottom top 10 prospect.

Maybe, but I suspect Ford slips in updated top 100 lists (by virtue of being stuck in the minors as a result of Raleigh) and B.Hopkins (at least) jumps him. That doesn’t really matter though. My point wasn’t that the Rays wouldn’t trade Suarez, but that the secondary piece might not be as good. Rays might also see about trading GGH instead of Suarez.
