5It would be more productive to just release Castellanos and find a trade with the 2 pieces we're just giving away here.
They are not being given away. The Phillies are selling them for $15 million.
Broke ass teams like the Rockies and reds sell prospects not the Phillies who are the largest single team market in the league. 15m isn't going to stop us from signing Schwarber or Realmuto. Overall I would say that opposing fans overvalue our need to get rid of Castellanos, its not something we're going to pay out of our thin farm to fix.
I like that you say "we and "us" when talking about the Phillies.
