I hate to lose the right-handed bat, but the Mets imploded in the 2nd half, and just lost the best closer in the game. And a top five first baseman. They should feel desperate. The Rays will happily take two close prospects for Yandy Diaz, and begin the veteran selloff.

Baro doesn’t do much for me (and I think he’s crazy overvalued right now), but I’d love to see Santucci added to the Rays system.
