3If the Rays are truly interested in Marte, this is the type of trade I’d prefer see the Rays make to get him. Most of the trades being proposed decimate the Rays 2026 rotation by requiring both Pep and Baz. This trade gives the D-Backs a mid-rotation SP (Pepiot) and a young dynamic outfielder (Simpson) for the 2026 team, along with a AAA pitcher (Nichols) who might contribute to the 2026 team and another pitching prospect for down the road (GGH). That’s a lot of good pitching in one trade, plus Simpson, but it shouldn’t keep the Rays from competing in 26.
I'm surprised you included TJ, he really started taking off when he got to AA, TJ and Ty and very interesting cause they have a lot of similarities, I think TJ goes back to AA though while Ty goes to AAA with Hopkins, Idk why both are ranked so low, most better upside than guys like Hill
You gotta give to get and I don’t hold GGH in high regard, so someone of TJ’s caliber had to be included in my opinion.
