Rays aren’t in the market for Marte (or St Louis’ Donovan for that matter), but maybe they can help Seattle acquire him. This trade nets the D-Backs 2 ML pitchers and Seattle’s top ranked pitching prospect for the future. The Rays get their B.Lowe replacement in Arroyo and a decent upside SS for down the road. Mariners push their chips in and get Marte.
