1I could get behind this trade for the Rays but there are big risks. Moore did not have a very good year in 2025, either in the minors or the Majors. His 2024 was great but it was also only 110 PAs. Of course the Angels rushed him to the Show, which may hurt his career long term. Ultimately, he still has draft pedigree and I like the pitchers, so it’s a trade I can support. I don’t think the Rays trade Pep though. Trading Ras and McClanny at the deadline makes more sense to me.
