The great Rays hope - trading for Rushing. I don’t know if Rushing’s backstop skills would appeal to the Rays, but he has a bat and giving up Simpson and Pierce for him wouldn’t hurt the Rays that much (assuming the Rays go SS with the #2 pick in this year’s draft).
