5We both know Cleveland wouldn't even think about this deal...
Phillies are giving Crawford a shot and he looks decent. And Marsh is a better hitter than Kwan. So there isn't a need there for the Phillies. They need righty bats not leftys. I also just don't see Cleveland paying that kind of price to what is essentially an upgrade from Genao to Miller. They're more likely to trade Kwan alone for like 3 prospects/young MLB ready pieces
LOL! Marsh is not a "better hitter than Kwan". No, they don't need prospects. Cleveland has very little to address at this point, but if they could get Miller to pair with Bazzana going forward I believe they would gladly make this deal.
Marsh posted a .785 OPS last season compared to Kwan’s .705. For their careers, Marsh is at .748 OPS while Kwan is at .741. By the numbers Marsh has clearly been the more productive hitter. Phillies biggest need is an impact righty bat. And Miller fills that need very well. He isn't available
Sure they would and it makes sense for both clubs if Cleveland doesn't believe Arias will turn the corner offensively.
