1🦨 Very weird. Not just that it was a bad start by our ace, but that it was truly one of the very worst starts I've ever seen in my life. Remember when Houck was struggling before his last start, (but in a way that Crochet seemingly hasn't been). But you just don't see pitchers with a performance with that many standard deviations removed from their baseline. And I am reminded that Houck had had a rough spring training (like Crochet), and neither he nor the team seemed to suspect an injury, until suddenly he was getting Tommy John…..
